In about 1978 I bought the first "all the bells and whistles" Canon camera. The A1. Now Canon's digital counterpart has arrived (the G2) and I am the proud owner of both. Although drastically different, the "bells and whistles" are really quite similar in function and, surprisingly, feel. And at 4 megapixels, it's going to make putting off setting up a darkroom a lot easier.
